The school board is not responsible for having to spend $900,000 on the Freshwater case, in fact it had to find ways to make up for the amount of money Freshwater appeals was costing them. the amount of money they are asking is the equilent of 37% of the money they had to spend in Freshwater's appeal. I can understand why they need the extra money to make up for where they had to cut before. I think we owe it to our children and the district as a whole to pass this should it be decided they want to put it on the ballot.
