The National Weather Service in Cleveland has issued a winter weather advisory for snow…which is in effect from 9 am Thursday to midnight est Thursday night.

Snow will move into the area during the morning Thursday. The snow will continue through the day and into the evening before tapering off after midnight thursday night. A total accumulation of 3 to 5 inches is expected before the snow tapers off Thursday night.

Precautionary/preparedness actions

A winter weather advisory is normally issued for a variety of winter weather conditions such as light snow, blowing snow, sleet, freezing rain and wind chills. While the weather will be significant, the word advisory implies that severe winter weather is not anticipated.
