The National Weather Service in Cleveland has issued a winter weather advisory for much of north central Ohio until 3 pm this afternoon for areas of freezing drizzle.

Patches of freezing drizzle and fog and snow flurries were occurring across north central Ohio.

High temperatures this afternoon will hold in the upper 20s.

The precipitation should taper off during the mid and late afternoon.

Untreated surfaces exposed to freezing drizzle will become icy. Roads and sidewalks that appear to be wet may have black ice…especially bridges and those surfaces that remain shaded all day. Stay tuned to NOAA weather radio and other radio and tv stations for further details or updates.
