Any idea the fuel we burn nationally stopping for pedestrians? The brakes we wear out? I walk all the time & never had a problem before this pedestrian protection do-gooder stuff went viral with the law. Pedestrians don’t even look. We’re training idiots. “Stop & look both ways” is the sort of sense that’s gone extinct in America. They had a pedestrian cross walk at the govt county building on E High St before they had one at St Vincent school ! For the bureacrats,of course. If they’d walk a few yards to the light they’d lose weight, save costs to obam0care …for a little while.I mean, why the heck not?

The pedestrians also need t be aware when a car is entering into the crosswalk it isn’t a good or safe idea to cross.
