HOWARD — East Knox students are serious about being safe behind the wheel. The Youth Safety Council has launched an "X the Text" campaign to remind their schoolmates, and parents, that distractions while driving can be dangerous.

    Great job East Knox students and Jenny Demczyk (their teacher) Our school lost one of our own this past summer, Keith Homstad was killed as a result of a texting driver, and these kids are making a difference. If one person puts their phone away, and one life is saved, they have made an impact.
