MOUNT VERNON — Ervin Blackston was sentenced to 90 days in jail Monday in Hocking County Common Pleas Court on a charge of involuntary manslaughter, a second degree felony, in the death of Michelle Kazlausky.

    Certainly a tragedy but how many times are law abiding citizens going to be forced to not only carry the required insurance but have to ante up and pay more for protection against society’s scum that think laws don’t apply to them before something REAL is going to be done to these violators?. 90 days, small fine and 1 year probation for taking the life of another….really? This is criminal in itself.
