Carl that’s exactly how I feel about Mt. Vernon, especially after just paying our property taxes! In a related story on EK it was stated that they expect about $23,000.00 more in fiscal year 2012 due to property values going up!!?? Look around values continue to fall, and yet we are paying MORE in taxes on the aduitors inflated values. . The county auditor is siding with the school districts in the county, and stealing from us taxpayers!

So now the district is playing “Let’s make a Deal” with taxpayers? EK will have to kiss my feet before they get another dime from me. >:(
