I have found this to be the opposite. You don't think kids miss way to much school, because the roads were not kept up on through out the night??? I have found this to be the case numerous times. People are not complaining. This was a question asked by the paper. You replied to it, speaking negatively of me or other people who might reply. I still have not seen a plow or salt truck on my street, and I am glad the ice and snow are finally melting. Also you must not know about the township roads are being done by the township and not the city trucks. I was only responding to the question asked. Maybe you wouldn't be so grumpy if you would stop chewing bricks.

I think mt vernon does a great job cleaning our streets. When I want to go out, I never have to stop & wonder if the roads are clean enough or not. I already know the crews are one step ahead of me, & on it.nSure, they get to the side roads last, but isn't that the way it should be? Yes, it should! All the traffic is on the main roads, not the oppisite.nYou cant please all the people, because some enjoy looking for things to complain about.

Im pretty sure I'd rather have the roads where speed limits are above 35 and there are curves and hills cleaned before a side street where the speed limit is 25 and the road itself is a straight 200 yard stretch. Come on people, quit complaining and be glad that our road crews work as hard as they do to keep us safe when the weather is less than perfect. I live on the corner of two sidestreets and they are still not great, but Im sure content with coshocton rd. being ice and snow free!!!
