Mound View is one of the most beautiful, historic sites in Mount Vernon. It should be protected and maintained properly.

I ,ve worked there for the last 3 yrs, This should have been done years ago !!!! Not only for the public’s safety, But also for us emp;oies who have to work on and around the wall. Some of the banking behind the wall is well over a 45 degree angle.maken it very difficult and dangers to work .n I hope the whole thing from Warden St.north to Sunset St. get’s replaced. Thank You Mr.Mavis and City concil for aproven funding for this long needed repair .Maybe next year we can get the old steel water tower painted with the words Mound View Cemetery put on it ..

I feel that the retaining wall at Mound View Cemetery should be replaced. I personally have close family relatives resting there awaiting the resurrection. The perpetual care that is expected from dear departed ones includes not only the actual burial plot but the entire surroundings.

Finally! Mt. Vernon makes a good decision for the people-it gives dignity to the departed and their family-go for it!
