MOUNT VERNON — In an effort to curb the explosion of prescription drug misuse and addiction in Knox County, residents will have the opportunity to drop off old and unwanted pills during Saturday's Old Prescription Round Up.

    Yea, this is totally how pills are getting to the streets, and not pill mill clinics where you show up, give someone cash and tell them “my back hurts” and they write you up a Rx for 1000 Oxycodone. Sure, some of them are stolen from relatives, pharmacies but this is just ultimately pointless.
