hours Wed 22 June, there will be double red cell donation
equipment at Mt. Vernon on 28 & 29 June 2011.TUE 28 June:
Available appointments at American Red Cross of Knox County Chapter
House (when I spoke) are: 1415 (2:15p), 1600 (4:00p), 1715 (5:15p) and
1830 (6:30p)WED 29 June: Available appointments at Knox
Community Hospital, (when I spoke) are: 1300 (1:00p), 1415 (2:15p),
1600 (4:00p), 1715 (5:15p) and 1830 (6:30p)Be well hydrated. The better hydrated, the quicker the machine can extract the double reds and return your plasma and platelets  to you. Time actual donating (blood flowing) ranges from low 20 minutes to mid thirty minutes or so. It’s a great way to
help your fellow folks.

Jehovah’s Witnesses blood transfusion confusion.
 
 Many Jehovah’s Witnesses men,women and children die every year worldwide due to blood transfusion ban.
FYI
Jehovah’s Witnesses DO USE many parts aka ‘fractions’ components of blood,they use blood collections that are donated by Red cross and others but don’t donate back.
 Watchtower society will not allow a Jehovah’s Witness to pre store their OWN blood called autologous blood,yet allows the transfusion of so-called Hemopure made from Bovine cow’s blood.
