¶ ANY restaurant can serve food w/o MSG and have both excellent fresh food & a huge customer base.¶ I've not had the opportunity to shadow the inspectors nor check food temps at the restaurant.¶ What would be the motive of the health department to pick on the restaurant ?¶ Columbus has many restaurants that have been cited at on time or another. ¶ The closing of a restaurant, in my non-certified culinary opinion, is rare and used as a last resort.

Finally a Chinese buffet that serves food without MSG, always has excellent fresh food with a huge customer base and all this county can do is pick on them. Let's take a look at the competition, if you like to poison yourself with huge amounts of MSG and food that has been setting out to long that has shriveled up due to this ridiculous heat requirements with governances by Knox county, then the Chinese Buffet on Coshocton Avenue is perfect. I won't mention the long term effects of MSG to your health, but why be concerned about that. I would like to know who is paying who to keep Chen's closed. Obviously there is something dirty going on here. Notice I the spelling.

Some people just arent good at certain things. I think the Chins should find another avenue of work. Food just isnt their thing.

Common horsesense tells you not to store raw beef on top of green beens or keep a knife between the stove & fridge. I'm sure they SEE the crud between there.

At first, I was feeling sympathetic for them, but now I believe they just dont care. This isnt a language barrier problem..they just dont care what happens to peoples health if they serve dirty contaminated food. I bet they wouldnt eat those green beans!!

They shoulld get out of the food business before someone gets really sick.

At this point, I'm glad they got shut down again, ....hopefully for good.

When the Chens asked if there was another alternative or another
opportunity, Miller stated, “This is not just about the latest
violations. This is about all these months of dealing with this issue
and there continues to be violations.”

Water is apparently over the dam, but an option the Chens could have considered, would be to hire an unemployed person knowledgeable about food safety and who cared about customer health (no serving salads garnished with weapons grade plutonium). Let that individual do not a thing except monitor all aspects of health department rules re food safety.
