MOUNT VERNON — "These women aren't looking for money, they want him (Brian Hess) fired," said William Curphey, attorney for the six women who have filed a discrimination suit against Emergency Management Director Brian Hess, several county officials and members of the Emergency Management Agency and 9-1-1 boards.

The plaintiffs are correct about the negligence surrounding this person’s employment before and now. Anyone connnected to hiring this person or ignoring the complaints against him should also lose their jobs.

In the private section Brian Hess would have been FIRED long ago.  Sheriff Barber may have done some good in other cases but obviously dropped the ball in this one and he should be placed on administrative leave pending the outcome.  the commisioners should resign for failing to protect these women or at least voters need to remember this come election time and vote them out of office.  The board needs to resign and clean house.
