CROTON (AP) — The Licking County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a double shooting believed to be a murder/suicide in a home at 89 S. High St., Croton.

Few details are being released by the LCSO, however, it has been confirmed a man and a woman were involved in the incident although no identifies have been released.

According to the Newark Advocate, a neighbor said the woman who was killed lived in the home with her two sons, her boyfriend and her mother.

The sheriff’s office and the Hartford Volunteer Fire Department were called at 8:25 p.m. The Licking County coroner’s office arrived later.

A spokesperson for the LCSO said this morning the investigation was on-going and that no details were being released.

The Licking County Coroner’s Office declined to comment.
