Ever heard the expression……….”crooked as a politician?”

Theres a lot of truth to that saying. They put on a big act, they come around to your homes with flyers & so on. All they really want is a big name for themselves, to be up in lights, & a big shot in the town.

They all pull their pants up the same as all the rest of us. I couldnt care less who runs things.

My hope is that someone who is responsive to the needs of the people of Mt. Vernon will be elected…..whoever that is.  My past experience with the present administration has left me very cynical toward this administration.  I have expressed numerous safety concerns and have made numerous suggestions to improve traffic flow and safety, but have either been blown off or just ignored.  They really just do not care….unless it is election time.  This present adminstration is not functional.
Jay Maners is showing himself to care about the people of Mt.Vernon.  Has anyone of the other candidates done more to actually help people in need in this community?  Actions still speak louder than words……
