Antifreeze spill on Mill Street in Fredericktown. » antifreeze spill
The 250-gallon cube of 50-50 antifreeze in the foreground fell off a truck Tuesday morning on the Mill Street hill in Fredericktown. The plastic container ruptured and spilled about 80 gallons of the antifreeze. A small amount ran into a storm drain and into the Kokosing River. Mill Street was closed for a time while the Fredericktown Community Fire Department collected the antifreeze with absorbent material. The driver of the truck will be charged with an unsecured load. All roads in the village are now open.
