Is a 1-cent increase in the price of postage stamps the solution to the financial problems of the United States Postal Service? Why or why not?

i think they should sell it to UPS since they deliver to every address anyway. then put the money they get to some better use.

No,I`ts not the solution. The postal service is going under,Raise the cost to 50cents and put 2 cents back into social security and 2 cents to the post office and give me the rest.

I do not believe a 2.3% increase is adequate to offset the USPS cash flow problem. Inflation is higher.

i think 10 cents would be what they need this way they wouldn’t be coming back every few years to penney dime us to death plus get their act together run their business more profitsblr and leave us alone….

No, because they need to get to the real problem, which is paying their employees too much money. Everybody else is getting paid less these days, so why doesn’t the postal service suffer as well?
