Pack 332 hunts for arrowheads
Photo Submitted

Bear Den Scouts from Pack 332 of St. Vincent de Paul Church recently visited the property of Tom and Oneta Debolt near Utica. Mr. Debolt shared his vast collection of arrowheads and other stone and flint tools that have been recovered from his family’s farm. Participants were given a chance to search a recently tilled field to find their own artifacts. A nicely formed arrowhead more than 3 inches in length was recovered by Brooklyn Ellis, sister to Scout Cade Ellis, both of Mount Vernon.
