MOUNT VERNON — The Mount Vernon Board of Education on Wednesday passed the final resolution needed to place an operating levy on the November ballot.

MOUNT VERNON — Prison time for a Mount Vernon man jumped an additional five years after being sentence in the Knox County Common Pleas Court on Wednesday.
