MOUNT VERNON — The Knox County 9-1-1 Board discussed plans on Wednesday to form a steering committee to keep emergency communications in the county in step with population growth, development and technological advancement.

MOUNT VERNON — According to Knox County Prosecutor John Thatcher, Colton Spellman has been arrested.

FREDERICKTOWN — The Fredericktown school board on Tuesday learned the Open House and Meet the Teachers Night for Fredericktown students will be from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 19.

FREDERICKTOWN — It was the wrong day not have his cell phone. Bruce Robinson was bush hogging on his farm on Quaker Road, northwest of Fredericktown, when his tractor caught fire on Tuesday around noon.
