Jewelry auction raises funds for Girl Scout lodge
MOUNT VERNON —In 1915, Juliette Gordon Low, founder of the Girl Scouts, sold her pearls to keep the Girl Scouts of America going. Almost a century later, dedication to the Girl Scout movement continues as a room full of women met at Landoll’s Mohican Castle for the Pearls for Girls Jewelry Auction and Tea.
