GAMBIER -- An apartment complex in violation of village zoning was a major topic of discussion at Tuesday’s Gambier Village Council meeting.

Generals down Colts
BELLVILLE -- The Clear Fork High School boys basketball team dropped a 51-43 contest against Ohio Cardinal Conference rival Wooster on Tuesday night. From the opening tip-off, the Generals had enough edge to keep the Colts trailing most of the game. Both teams now stand at 1-5 in the OCC.

Yellow Jackets split tri-meet with Lexington, CSG
GAMBIER -- It was a fast meet for the Mount Vernon High School swim team, and its last showing at home. That’s how MVHS head swimming coach Kris Caldwell described Tuesday night’s tri-meet with the Lexington Minutemen and the Columbus School for Girls. Lexington finished the meet with 203 points, beating both the Yellow Jackets (136) and CSG (43).
