MOUNT VERNON — Area residents should be able to rent movies at the new Family Video store on Coshocton Avenue by the end of the month.
Construction of the 5,800-square-foot building at the corner of Coshocton Avenue and Brown Street began this past fall, after four buildings, including the old Ohio Mower and Ron’s Pizza buildings, were demolished.
Tim Reynolds, spokesman for Family Video, said the new store should open Jan. 24, though the opening could be delayed by a day or two. He said the new store will have various promotions for new customers.
“We have a good track record,” Reynolds said. “We own the building and will really try to be part of the community.”
He said local residents who become Family Video customers should be impressed by the level of customer service they receive.
