Body found in apartment

MOUNT VERNON — The body of a deceased male was found Sunday in an apartment on McGibney Road, according to Mount Vernon Police Capt. George Hartz.

Hartz said that “nothing on the surface” suggested foul play was involved, and the body was transported to Licking County for an autopsy. Hartz declined to release the name, age or any other information regarding the deceased.
