FREDERICKTOWN — A Kokosing Construction helicopter crashed after experiencing problems while landing at the Pike County airport on Wednesday evening around 7 p.m., according to company spokesman Ron Cochran.

The pilot and a passenger were on board; neither were injured. Cochran said the matter is under investigation by the Ohio State Highway Patrol and added that the crash caused extensive damage to the helicopter.
