Health dept. honors community partners
MOUNT VERNON -- On Friday, the Knox County Health Department recognized its community health partners as part of National Public Health Week. National Public Health Week falls on the first full week in April.

South tops North, 76-61
PICKERINGTON -- Many of the top area girls basketball players had the chance to hit the court one last time as they had the chance to play in the District 11 All-Star game held at Pickerington Central High School. The game pitted the northern teams against the southern schools, and it was the South who came away with a 76-61 victory.

DeLaney guides North to victory
PICKERINGTON -- Some of the finest high school boys basketball players in District 11 faced off at Pickerington Central High School on Friday for one last basketball game before they graduate. The players split into two teams -- the North and the South -- and Utica's Zack Walton played for the North squad, while Utica head coach Mike DeLaney coached the team.

Yellow Jackets hosting defending state champs
MOUNT VERNON -- Today is a landmark day for the Mount Vernon High School boys volleyball program. The Yellow Jackets, who have gained statewide exposure with their success the last few years, are hosting the defending state champion -- Cincinnati Moeller -- at "The Hive"for a tripleheader.
