He should be impeached. Also a $50,000 fine and 6 months in
the slammer. Its time to clean up Politics and get on with
the business at hand

Let's stop and think about recent news articles. Mr.
Freshwater, MVHS Teacher, is being ridiculed for having a
Bible on his desk. Mr. Dann is being ridiculed for having
an affair with one of his staff members. Who is to judge
whether Mr. Dann is allowed to have an affair or not? Oh
yes, I know now----we were first warned of the evil of
having an affair outside of marriage in THE BIBLE, the best
book ever written, and the exact book that is on Mr.
Freshwater's desk. Hmmmmm! The same type of situation was
shown on the news a few weeks ago when two ohio teens died
as a result of an auto accident, the one teens twin was not
injured. What was the first thing that people did?
Gathered outside of the HIGH SCHOOL to have a PRAYER vigil.
No we cannot have prayer in schools, but when tragedy
strikes what is the first thing people do? Pray! In my
opinion I think that this is a sure sign that until prayer
and the Bible are allowed back in the classroom, the
courtrooms, the state offices, etc...you are going to see
that people are going to continue to be unsettled. And
parents, are you teaching your children that they should
obey and respect the Bible, or would you prefer to have them
be in a scandal all over the front page of the paper?

Let Dann clean up the Blackwell mess over the bonuses and
then let's work on getting him out of office.

Hey, what do you expect with the example we had with a
former President who disgraced the White House with his
affairs. Did they get rid of him?? NO!! So, now we have
others in our government who think they can do what our
leader of our country did in the Big House of all. Someone
asked if there is any morals in this country. Doesn't look
like it in our government offices now does it. So,get used
to this kind of thing happening because it is going to get
worse not better in this country since we keep electing
these jokers over and over agian.

Bring back Betty Montgomery. Yes if he fired the others for
the very same thing, then he should step down.

He should resign for his own self-preservation. Still, I
don't quite think it was an impeachable offense.
Impeachment proceedings will only encourage other
politicians to hide everything - at least he openly admitted
to his affair. And, he's not quite as hypocritical as Eliot
Spitzer.

It seems like he was not in office long enough to have
created an environment such as the one which exists, yet,
here we are.
He was elected, in the wake of a corrupt
Taft administrarion, especially to clean up 'Dodge' yet he
hired his cronies to run the office. That was a
fundamentally bad move and it tells me that he was the wrong
man for the job that he was elected to do.
He will be
an embarassment until he is gone -- much like Taft and his
cronies were.

If he has broken the the law then let him pay for the crime.
If it's a moral issue, most people dont care, some do most
don't care. He'll answer for it in the End...

Neither. The only thing that poor man is guilty of is
getting to know the people he serves even better. If I were
in a similar public sevice job I would do the some thing.
People should count themselves lucky to have gotten that
close to him. A little horse play and joking around never
hurt anyone.

I realize that none of us are perfect. However, he has
taken an office in which he is being seen and serving the
public. He should be setting a good example. Doesn't
anyone have any morles anymore??

Well, seems like it should be between God, his wife and him.
Doesnt seem like he was S****ing the public. "He who is
with sin let him cast the first stone." 'nough said.

Well, it seems to me that the integrity of the office should
call for a resignation, not a force-out ... I would wish for
[his resignation], to save the integrity [of] the office
itself and the trust that’s involved with public service.

I’m disappointed. I really don’t know what it is with people
that are in higher offices, they think they can get away
with anything ... I’m on the border [as to whether he should
resign or be impeached] ... My gut reaction is: just get him
out of office. But, what is the process by which we get
somebody else in there? ... [Impeachment] is so much money,
we’re paying for that every day ... I’m just thinking of,
you know, the consequences for taxpayers.

Well, I think that it’s kind of ironic and I think that it’s
interesting to see how the Attorney General is hanging on
and just doesn’t recognize what’s going on ... I think that
it’s time [for him] to go ... I think he should resign. I
think impeachment is going to be a process that is sort of
the ultimate thing if he doesn’t resign. It’s just amazing
to me that he just doesn’t own up to it and bow out.

It’s a little unbelievable. I think he’s created a work
environment that is not conducive to the Attorney General’s
Office ... I think he should resign, but what he has done
probably does not reach the level of impeachment.

Well, I think he [Marc Dann] clearly has lost the public’s
trust. I do think he should resign, but I also know that ...
it’s also going to be difficult to impeach him. I don’t know
if the impeachment laws expand so much to where what has
happened is an impeachable offense.

I think it’s a bunch of junk. I think it’s awful. I hope
they impeach him ... I think it’s an awful think that he’s
still there.
