BRANDON -- When the congregation of Brandon Baptist Church got together recently to strip the old wallpaper off the walls of the sanctuary, it found some precious treasures.

Camp Ohio took the opportunity Saturday to celebrate its 80th birthday as well as the bicentennial for both Knox and Licking counties. An open house of the facilities explored the campgrounds and included living history presentations.

FREDERICKTOWN -- NBA star Michael Redd was the featured speaker at this year's ROCC Fest in Fredericktown. A large crowd filled with young people listened as Redd shared his faith and insight grown during his years playing basketball for the OSU Buckeyes and the Milwaukee Bucks.

NEWARK -- The 122nd commencement of Utica High School seniors unfolded on Sunday afternoon for an overflow crowd of 129 graduates and their friends and families. The event was held at the Career and Technology Education Center of Licking County in Newark.

WORTHINGTON -- The Ohio Capital Conference is a tough one when it comes to track and field, especially in the Cardinal Division. But for the athletes wearing orange and black, tough is a word of inspiration.

GAHANNA -- As the Mount Vernon High School boys volleyball team opened tournament play on Saturday, the Yellow Jackets were coming off one of their biggest wins of the year in the Ohio Capital Conference Challenge on Tuesday.
