POWELL -- The Mount Vernon High School boys volleyball team fought off another opponent and advanced in postseason play on Wednesday night. The Yellow Jackets defeated the Dublin Coffman Shamrocks in three games, 25-13, 25-20, 25-13, at Olentangy Liberty High School.

Blue Devils win district title
PICKERINGTON -- The Danville High School softball team cruised into the Division IV Regional Tournament with a 9-0 victory over Berne Union on Wednesday. The win gave the Blue Devils their third Division IV District title in as many years.
