MOUNT VERNON — Mount Vernon School superintendent Steve Short said this week that the investigation into allegations against middle school science teacher John Freshwater is nearing completion.
Short said the board will probably hold a special work session later this month to discuss the findings, after the investigator files the report.
No action on the matter will be taken at Monday’s school board meeting, Short said. At the meeting, board members will be celebrating retirees and spring sports participants.
