It's quite simple, everyone stop drinking A-B products.
When the company becomes non-profitable the foreign
investors will want to sell for much less than they
purchased. That's when an American interest can buy back
the company and Americans can start consuming their products
again. Send a message to the foreign investors that we
won't put up with it.

A-B is not a family owned company. It is publicly traded.
The shareholders who will get a 35% something bonus on their
holdings probably have a different opinion than is being
expressed here. Our businesses are being picked off by
foreign concerns due to the weak dollar. Did that come from
the tax and spend Democrats or from the borrow and spend
Republicans? Anyway the Chinese win because they will do it
cheaper and that makes the $100 million a year CEO look like
the genius of the balance sheet. Big government doesnít
scare me as much as big business.

To everybody who says they'll drink a good American
beer--Coors--instead, just remember: Coors was recently
bought by SAB Miller. What's SAB Miller? That's the company
that was formed when Miller Brewing was taken over by ...
SOUTH AFRICAN BREWERIES.

Wanna drink American?
Buy a good craft or regional brew, like Great Lakes or
Columbus Brewing Company. The majors' products are all
pee-water, anyway.

To Sandy, The democraps are the ones who made NAFTA so you
can thank them for sending our jobs away. But if you want to
vote for a terrorist for Pres. Than you go right ahead But I
think you'll find it doesn't matter who you put in the white
house gas is not going down. And the country will still be in
debt.Even Though the democraps are giving 48 billion to
Africa and other foreign places for HIV/AIDS. Don't you
think that money would be better spent here.

To JLB, you need to thank the Republicans for shipping our
jobs and businesses to foreign countries, for the high gas
prices and for running the good USA into bankruptcy. The
shrub (the bush)thinks he's a dictator, he does not care
about WE THE PEOPLE.. and good riddens to him in January
2009, the USA is better off without that shrub.

It's just a very sad story and proof positive that
everything is for sale at the right price. American
breweries at one time were the pinnacle of beer excellence
through-out the world. I guess they don't have the clout
they used to any longer. While an American icon will still
be in America, it certainly will not be the same. I'm sure
if Augustus Busch were alive today, he would roll over in
his grave. The only hope that I have is that this deal will
clear the way for the rise of some other great future
American icon that the nation has not been introduced to
yet. Perhaps some independent American brewery that has yet
to make it into the national lime-light yet? Time will
tell.

This is just a consequence of increased globalization and
the weak dollar. America still equates to quality in the
eyes of the rest of the world. Foreign investors are
recognizing good values when they see them.

We
need to accept that a global economy will increasingly mean
foreigners buying up our land and companies, just like we
have been doing elsewhere for quite some time.

As our nation continues to swirl down the toilet thanks to
decades of Republican rule, our industrial sector continues
to die and our landmarks continue to be purchased by other
nations. Face it, folks--the United States is in its
twilight. We had a good run, but we're out of money. Nations
in Europe, Asia, and even Africa are buying everything and
leaving us with very little. Greatest nation on Earth? HA!
