MOUNT VERNON — Dingey House Movers, a contractor for the city of Mount Vernon, will be moving a bow string truss bridge on Sunday at 9 a.m. from the Bladensburg area to Foundation Park in Mount Vernon. The route traveled will be closed in intervals to allow the 19-foot-wide bridge to be moved.
The route starts on Jug Run Road and will travel west to Ohio 541 to Ohio 586, continuing north to Parrott Street in Mount Vernon. It will then head west on Parrott Street to Columbus Road and then north to Norton Street to Foundation Park.
Patience is greatly appreciated as travelers in these areas will face delays or detours.
