MOUNT VERNON — Simon Souhrada, a 17-year-old junior at Mount Vernon High School, testified this morning in the termination hearing of John Freshwater. According to Mount Vernon News Staff Reporter Pam Schehl, Souhrada said that he, too, was marked with a Tesla coil in the shape of a cross when he was in Freshwater’s science class. He also said that Freshwater’s teachings discredited evolution and supported creationism.
Souhrada’s father, Paul, also testified.
