MOUNT VERNON — After meeting in executive session at noon on Wednesday, the Knox County Career Center Board of Education appointed director Debbie Cisler to serve as acting superintendent.
Treasurer Tracy Elliott said the board took no formal action regarding the letter of resignation submitted last week by superintendent Ray Richardson, but asked Cisler to serve in his stead while he is on sick leave and vacation.
