The top of the Memorial Building was brought closer to completion when the new cupola was delivered Wednesday morning. A crane was brought in to lift it off the truck. The cupola is on the concrete in front of the building until Friday, when, weather permitting, it will be lifted up and fitted in place.

The cost of rented county facilities has been in the news lately, with some parties expressing surprise at the $11.50 per-square-foot cost of floor space on Harcourt Road rented by the county for the OSU Extension Agency.

Indictments were returned in 13 cases on Monday by a Knox County grand jury. Arraignments are scheduled for Friday, Dec. 12, at 9 a.m., in the Knox County Court of Common Pleas before Judge Otho Eyster.
