MOUNT VERNON — After a late start, the termination hearing for John Freshwater resumed this morning.
Freshwater’s daughter, Jordan, a Mount Vernon High School freshman, testified regarding the Fellowship of Christian Athletes and her leadership role in the organization.
According to Mount Vernon News reporter Pam Schehl, Jordan also discussed her experiences with the tesla coil in the classroom. She said it was demonstrated when she was in the second, third and sixth grades, as well as sixth-grade orientation. According to her testimony, when she saw her dad demonstrate it, he did not touch any students with the device. She also said that sixth-grade teacher Dino D’Ettorre demonstrated the device.
