HOWARD – As of Thursday, the East Knox Local School District has used nine calamity days for the current school year. The state allows five calamity days; all additional days must be made up by the district.
Per the district’s board-adopted calendar, East Knox will now be in session on the following days:
•Friday, Feb. 13
•Monday, Feb. 16
•Thursday, June 4
•Friday, June 5
Any additional calamity days will results in school days being made up during the scheduled spring break, beginning with Monday, April 6.
