The community turned out to say farewell to Dennis Foster on Tuesday. Foster, a former Knox County sheriff’s deputy and detective for the Mount Vernon Police Department, died Friday.

Ten indicted by grand jury

Indictments were returned in 10 cases on Feb. 2 by a Knox County grand jury. Arraignments are scheduled for Feb. 20 at 9 a.m., in the Knox County Court of Common Pleas before Judge Otho Eyster.
