Teacher hearing postponed
Friday’s contract termination hearing for John Freshwater has been canceled. The hearing is scheduled to resume Wednesday at 9 a.m.
A large field and woods fire which blackened 15 to 20 acres of standing trees and grassy fields on three properties Wednesday afternoon is an example of how quickly an ember from a burn pile can lead to extensive property damage and extremely dangerous conditions.

Wednesday’s large brush and woods fire on Columbus Road, as well as huge brush fires in Licking County and Morrow County Wednesday afternoon, are destructive examples of the dozens and dozens of fires caused by open burning.
