Gay Street improvement project

Beginning the week of March 23 the left lane of Gay Street, starting just south of Howard Street to Chestnut Street, will be closed. This will be for the purpose of utility work. Howard Street will also be closed periodically for utility work.

For the most part, work on the Gay Street improvement project will involve water line installation and taps, brick removal and storm sewer installation. There will be no parking on Gay Street for the week.
