MOUNT VERNON — Stephen Zirkle, youth pastor at Lakeholm Church of the Nazarene, spent this morning on the witness stand of the John Freshwater termination hearing at the Knox County Service Center.

According to Mount Vernon News Reporter Pam Schehl, Zirkle was a guest in the Fellowship of Christian Athletes meeting when Freshwater allegedly held a healing session. He answered questions regarding this specific meeting, as well as FCA meetings and how they were conducted.

Updates on today’s hearing will appear throughout the day. Complete information will be available in Friday’s edition of Mount Vernon News and on mountvernonnews.com.
