Brian Hess, interim director for the Emergency Management Agency, is requesting members of the public to stay clear of the area. The chemical is contained at this time but the area is to be avoided.
According to Hess, Ohio 13 will be shut down between the 95 bypass and the hilltop in Mount Vernon into the evening.
