MOUNT VERNON — “He’s an individual we want to get off the street,” said Knox County Sheriff David Barber of 26-year-old fugitive Joshua Allen Pruitt.

Pruitt is wanted on charges of failure to appear for breaking and entering, contempt of court and failure to appear for criminal trespass.

He is a white male, 5 feet 11 inches tall and weighing approximately 190 pounds. He usually has a beard and mustache, and has tattoos on both arms, his back and chest.

Barber said investigators believe people in the area may have seen Pruitt without realizing he is wanted on several warrants.
