  • Lonsinger Pharmacy robbed in Utica

  • April 24, 2009

UTICA — At approximately 5:25 p.m. Wednesday, a white male about 5-feet 10-inches and 180 pounds entered Lonsinger’s Pharmacy, produced a weapon and demanded drugs. He was given Vicodin, then exited the front door and fled the scene.

“It is believed he had an accomplice driving the vehicle,” said Utica Police Chief Robert Curtis.

According to witnesses, the suspect left in a silver Honda CRV and with an unknown driver, 30 seconds before the police arrived.

The suspect is reported to have entered the building wearing a gray hoodie, jeans and a white ball cap, and is believed to be bald underneath. He was carrying a weapon with duct tape wrapped around it.

Lonsinger’s Pharmacy declined to comment on the robbery as it is an ongoing investigation.

If anyone has further information on the robbery, they are asked to contact the Utica Police Department at 892-2211.
