FREDERICKTOWN — A man riding a motorcycle with his 9-year-old daughter as passenger escaped injury in a crash Sunday at 6:56 p.m.

Troy Tangen, 40, Sunbury, and his daugther, Sydney, were taken to Knox Community Hospital by the Fredericktown squad. They were treated and released. The girl was wearing a helmet but Tangen was not, according to officers. Fredericktown Police said the crash occurred at the west edge of Fredericktown when Dana Joseph, 24, Westerville, made a left turn in front of, and collided with, the Tangen motorcycle. Joseph was charged with failure to yield the right of way.

Neither driver was injured in a crash which occurred at the intersection of Wooster Road and Vernonview Drive, Monday at 12:50 p.m. The Ohio State Highway Patrol said Robert Cannon, 28, Old Mansfield Road, was westbound through the intersection and ran into the left front door of a southbound car driven by Martha Thomen, 56, Hudson. Cannon was charged with failure to yield the right of way.
