A break in the water main in front of the home at 203 Mansfield Ave. caused damage to the house after a portion of the flooded basement collapsed under a deluge of thousands of gallons of water.
According to Mount Vernon Fire Department investigators, a fire which damaged a house trailer at the Grandview Mobile Home Park at 8750 Columbus Road late Sunday night started in the crawl space under the trailer.
