MOUNT VERNON — A boil advisory is in effect for the following area: Gambier Road east from the Ohio Eastern Star Home to the Village of Gambier, including Maplewood Condominiums and Park Road east of Oak Hill Drive, Laurelwood Drive, Laurel Court, Laurel Valley Drive, Laurel Hill Court, Fox Chase Drive, Deer Run Court and Summer Lane.

Contractors working in the area damaged a water line. Once water service is restored, consumers are advised to boil their consumption water for at least two minutes at a rolling boil. This procedure should be followed until the advisory is lifted.
