Money begins leaking out to dam projects

A crash on the square

Gilbert Riley Jr., 61, 107 Adamson St., was cited for failure to control after a crash on Public Square, Wednesday at 10:40 a.m. Riley told police he thought he was being passed and swerved into a parked car owned by Paul Sesler, 67, 10 Greer St. The Sesler car was knocked over the curb and sidewalk, and landed just touching a Dumpster beside the High Restaurant. Repairing the street

Repair of the North Sandusky Street pavement got under way Wednesday morning. First, the broken sections of pavement were milled out. Operator Bryan Thorne takes off 4 inches of the old asphalt, nearly down to the old brick street. Traffic was delayed both ways getting around the constructon machinery. (Virgil Shipley)
