Getting ready for OJM
Seventeen Knox County senior girls and their parents came to the Memorial Building on Monday night for an orientation on the Knox County Junior Miss Scholarship program. Fredericktown senior Leesha Clevenger and her mother, Leynnea, filled out the forms for entry into the program. Another orientation meeting will be held tonight. Rehearsals will start Sunday afternoon in the Memorial Building. The program to select the 2010 Central and Greater Knox County Junior Misses will be Nov. 20 and 21 in the Memorial Theater. Fire department gets new tanker
The new water tanker truck for College-Monroe Township Fire Department holds 2,100 gallons of water, and has 300 feet of supply hose and a 500-gallon-per-minute water pump.
