MOUNT GILEAD — The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a two-vehicle fatal crash which occurred Sunday at 7:13 p.m. on County Road 19 at County Road 21 in Morrow County.

Jerri Lee Bebout, 30, of Walhonding was operating a 1999 Honda Accord traveling northbound on C.R. 19. Rodney W. Sanborn, 27, of Marengo was operating a 2004 Chevrolet Avalanche traveling westbound on C.R. 21. Bebout failed to yield from a stop sign and pulled into the path of Sanborn. The crash occurred within the intersection and both vehicles slid off the north side of the roadway after impact.

Ajey S. Yadav, 27, of Fredericktown was seated in the front passenger seat of Bebout’s vehicle. Yadav was transported from the scene to Knox Community Hospital, where he was pronounced dead. Bebout was transported from the scene by MedFlight and taken to OSU Medical Center, where she is listed in critical condition. Sanborn was transported from the scene by EMS and taken to KCH, where he is listed in stable condition.

At this time, alcohol does not appear to be a factor in the crash, which remains under investigation.
